Responsibilities

Build and enhance reliable, low-latency Java components such as messaging handlers and market data parsers.
Design and implement features supporting trade execution workflows and production trading logic.
Optimize high-throughput data ETL pipelines, persistent and in-memory caches, and SQL databases for real-time market data processing.
Write unit and integration tests and automate testing for system correctness under live market conditions.
Improve research and trading tools and production infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Take ownership of projects from design through deployment while working independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, machine learning, or another quantitative discipline, or current enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
Strong Java programming experience, production-level coding quality, and object-oriented design skills.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker.
Experience working in Unix environments and proficiency with shell scripting.
Knowledge of Git version control and continuous integration and delivery tools and the software development lifecycle.
Ability to take ownership, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team.
Availability to work full-time onsite in New York from January through April 2027.
