Security Automation Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, automate, and optimize corporate security infrastructure.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform to maintain steady, change-managed, machine-readable enterprise configurations.
  • Design and deploy endpoint security measures and vulnerability management capabilities.
  • Configure corporate SaaS security controls and build automations to meet OnePay standards.
  • Manage data protection controls, including DLP tools and secure data handling processes.
  • Build secure data-sharing methods for internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and Security teams to secure and maintain critical corporate systems while supporting availability and compliance.
  • Develop and run incident response and disaster recovery plans, including tabletop exercises.
  • Lead projects and drive measurable security improvements through automation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of enterprise security experience in cloud environments.
  • Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and use scripting languages including Python, Go, and/or TypeScript to automate security improvements.
  • Understanding of networking, authentication standards, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Hands-on experience with ZTNA and DLP solutions such as Netskope and Zscaler.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influence decisions.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n is a plus.

Salary: $130k - $170k/yr
