Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure platform applications.
Write secure, high-quality code in Python, Java, or another modern programming language.
Identify problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to restore platform stability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and resiliency.
Automate software development lifecycle activities to reduce manual toil.
Ensure compliance with security, internal controls, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience with application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Java/Spring Boot, including development, debugging, and maintenance in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of software applications, technical processes, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
Preferred experience with Splunk, Grafana, data streaming frameworks, AWS services, and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
