Responsibilities

Design and implement distributed backend software using a microservices architecture.
Own one or more cloud services end to end, from requirements gathering and high-level design through implementation, operations, troubleshooting, and scaling.
Deliver integrations, proofs of concept, customer pilots, performance tuning, and production releases.
Build cloud-native software for a wireless network management system scaling to millions of devices.
Develop and ship production LLM-based features using retrieval fundamentals and agentic systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field from a reputed Tier 1 or Tier 2 university.
At least 10 years of backend software development experience in product companies or technology startups.
Strong experience with Java and its associated ecosystem, including technologies such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Strong TypeScript and Node.js backend skills are advantageous.
Experience implementing and consuming microservices and RESTful APIs.
Conceptual knowledge of distributed systems, including clustering, asynchronous messaging, streaming, scalability, performance, data consistency, and high availability.
Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
Experience with cloud-native platforms such as Kubernetes is advantageous.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, network architectures, and RPC mechanisms such as gRPC.
Hands-on experience using generative AI in applications, with strong retrieval fundamentals and agentic systems experience, including shipping an LLM-based feature to production.
Experience building SaaS or IoT product offerings is a plus.
