Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure, reliable SaaS platform solutions with Product Engineering teams.
  • Own DevOps and platform engineering initiatives from design through production readiness.
  • Design AI-driven automation, AIOps capabilities, self-healing infrastructure, automated recovery, and AI-assisted CI/CD workflows.
  • Drive Kubernetes reliability, predictive scaling, capacity planning, and intelligent resource management.
  • Define automation patterns and operational standards across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Establish standards for platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical leadership for platform components and strategic DevOps projects, including planning, prioritization, milestones, risk management, and delivery.
  • Partner across Product, Engineering, Security, SRE, and customer-facing teams to translate operational challenges into scalable platform designs and roadmaps.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps and AI-driven operational technologies and guide production adoption.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of professional experience.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, preferably with Red Hat or Ubuntu.
  • Strong Python programming skills for maintainable automation frameworks and production-quality code review.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on production experience operating Kubernetes platforms, including architecture, operations, networking, storage, and security.
  • Advanced experience with Helm, Terraform, and reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns.
  • Hands-on GitOps experience with Argo CD, Flux CD, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong experience designing and governing CI/CD platforms using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience implementing secure automation, quality controls, policy enforcement, and release governance in CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, failure modes, and resilient design patterns.
  • Experience with observability platforms and standards including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in distributed cloud-native environments.
  • Experience architecting or operating highly available, resilient, and recoverable systems.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML platforms, Generative AI infrastructure, model observability, and safe operational integration.
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, supply chain security, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security automation frameworks.
