Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines as code across multiple services and engineering teams.
Implement canary, blue/green, and feature-flag-based progressive delivery strategies.
Create reusable pipeline templates, shared libraries, and self-service developer tooling.
Improve build performance through caching, parallelization, and reduced feedback time.
Partner with engineering teams to remove friction from development, testing, CI, and deployment workflows.
Integrate AI-assisted capabilities for pipeline diagnostics, test generation or selection, code review automation, and failure triage.
Implement dependency scanning, artifact signing, and SBOM generation for software supply-chain security.
Use Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
Monitor pipeline health and deployment success and drive continuous improvements.
Enable engineering teams to adopt effective DevOps and delivery practices through communication and reusable solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of DevOps or software engineering experience focused on CI/CD and developer tooling.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Buildkite.
Experience designing pipelines as code and reusable pipeline templates.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying containerized applications through CI/CD.
Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Linux administration and scripting skills using Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience with Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
Experience driving adoption of tooling across engineering teams and strong communication skills.
Experience with progressive delivery tooling such as Argo Rollouts, Flagger, or feature-flag platforms.
Preferred experience with Nexus, Sigstore/cosign, Syft/SBOM tooling, Snyk, or Trivy.
Experience applying AI/LLM-based tools to engineering workflows and evaluating their outputs critically.

Remote work is available across Mexico; employees within 80 kilometers of the Guadalajara office are expected to work onsite.
