Responsibilities

Develop software architecture and design solutions for complex battery management challenges.
Implement reliable, high-performance software for real-time embedded systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally on battery management and energy intelligence features.
Design, develop, and own mission-critical features including state machines, fault handling, and diagnostics.
Support the department with additional duties and tasks as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
5+ years of embedded software development experience across architecture, design, coding, testing, and release.
3+ years of experience using C and/or Python, with C required.
2+ years of experience with schematics and peripheral interfaces.
Experience with multi-core development for safety-critical systems.
Proficiency with software design and development tools.
Preferred experience developing battery management systems or working in the electric vehicle or automotive industry.
Preferred knowledge of AUTOSAR, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS.
Preferred experience with MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with software development life cycle and software engineering processes.

The position offers an annual base pay range of $158,400–$217,800 for the listed locations.
