Senior iOS Engineer in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, maintain, debug, and profile software for large iOS and iPadOS applications.
  • Perform code reviews, fix bugs, and create and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Monitor application stability, address crashes, and uphold software quality standards.
  • Craft experiments to better understand how users interact with the applications.
  • Collaborate with other teams, mentor colleagues, and work effectively with a geographically distributed team.
  • Work openly as part of Mozilla’s open-source project and engage with its global community.

Requirements

  • Experience building and shipping native iOS and iPadOS mobile applications.
  • Expert coding skills in Swift.
  • Understanding of HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to learn and work effectively within a large codebase.
  • Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and collaborate with others.
