Senior Mobile Engineer in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features for North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement interface elements.
  • Develop custom solutions when security and privacy requirements limit the use of popular libraries or tooling.
  • Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques.
  • Research new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Production experience shipping native Android and iOS code using Kotlin and Swift.
  • Experience building native applications for AI companies and/or applications loved by many users.
  • Ability to understand and fix issues outside the main codebase.
  • Experience bootstrapping new projects.
  • Ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and objectives.
  • Experience with audio features for applications is a bonus.
