Senior Performance Test Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and spike testing for enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain reusable performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Create workload models that simulate real-world user behavior and system usage patterns.
  • Analyze application, infrastructure, database, network, memory, and CPU metrics to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Recommend performance improvements and support optimization initiatives.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous performance validation.
  • Collaborate with application developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Performance Testing, or Performance Engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Experience with Datadog, New Relic, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in LoadRunner, Performance Center, Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance issues using application, database, network, memory, and CPU metrics.
  • Strong understanding of performance engineering methodologies, workload modeling, and scalability testing.
  • Preferred qualifications include healthcare domain experience, CI/CD and DevOps integration experience, knowledge of GenAI-based performance testing tools, healthcare interoperability and HIPAA knowledge, and familiarity with NeoLoad, Gatling, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
