Responsibilities

Architect, operate, and evolve critical platform infrastructure, services, and developer tooling.
Improve how engineers build, test, deploy, and operate software, including leading platform migrations.
Scale compute, databases, queues, caching, and edge systems for increasing traffic and customer demand.
Support multi-cloud deployments across regional and customer-managed environments.
Improve observability, incident response, and operational automation while reducing on-call toil.
Lead infrastructure projects from architecture through production, including backend re-architecture and AI-first developer tooling.
Review designs, establish technical standards, mentor engineers, and improve engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
Deep experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, and operating large-scale production software.
Experience leading critical infrastructure projects from architecture through production.
Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs across reliability, developer velocity, performance, security, and cost.
Strong product intuition and attention to the developer experience created by platform systems.
Comfort working across infrastructure and application code to solve problems completely.
Experience mentoring engineers, sharing technical knowledge, and improving team practices.
Experience with AWS, MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, or Node.js is a plus.
