Responsibilities

Scope, design, and implement applications that interact with surgical robots and the data they generate.
Identify opportunities to reduce software-development friction and increase engineering velocity.
Lead the expansion of internal telemetry and observability tools.
Educate internal development teams on how to use available tooling effectively.
Collaborate across engineering and organizational teams to improve development productivity and product delivery.

Requirements

BSc degree in Computer Science or an adjacent technical field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree.
Expert-level knowledge of Python.
Experience with TypeScript and React.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of engineers.
Preferred experience building developer tools and working with Linux.
Preferred experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS, with Lambda experience as a plus.
Preferred experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Preferred experience with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or other data-processing tools.
Preferred experience with Docker development and deployment workflows.
