Responsibilities

Architect and implement high-performance responsive web interfaces and backend serving layers for AI observability suites.
Promote AI-first engineering workflows using agentic coding assistants, autonomous test harnesses, and automated review agents.
Build self-service capabilities for customizable views, ad-hoc metric exploration, and organization-wide AI adoption analysis.
Implement custom data visualization components using modern charting libraries.
Design, build, and optimize low-latency backend APIs serving large datasets with sub-second response times.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Five years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
One year of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience programming in Java and Python.
Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Preferred: experience building web frontends, rich data visualization interfaces, data pipelines, analysis, visualization, and insights-generation systems.
Preferred: technical leadership capabilities involving workflow improvement, solution design, and effective implementation.
Preferred: excellent programming proficiency in Java, Flume, and Python.

Benefits

US base salary of $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
Work involves collaboration with product managers, UX designers, UX researchers, and data scientists across Google and Alphabet.
