Responsibilities

Apply software development lifecycle practices across design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Analyze business objectives and translate requirements into technical implementation components.
Design, build, test, and deploy software solutions and application features.
Develop and support Ab Initio batch and continuous data flows.
Lead Level 3 or higher production support and technical troubleshooting activities.
Mentor team members and provide technical assistance.
Contribute to strategic engineering goals and promote industry best practices.
Estimate development effort for new features.
Work with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality checks, and reporting.

Requirements

At least 8 years of hands-on programming experience with Ab Initio.
Experience developing and deploying high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage independently.
Experience designing and building programs or application features to meet business objectives.
Industry knowledge of banking.
Experience with Ab Initio products and shell scripting; batch and continuous flow experience is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of Linux environments, shell scripting, and file systems.
Experience with RDBMS technologies, Oracle, SQL, or other data integration and ETL tools.
Experience with source control systems such as GitHub and CI/CD tools.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
