Responsibilities

Build integrations connecting carriers and customers to project44’s logistics network.
Manage integrations throughout their life cycle.
Operate, maintain, and improve the team-owned supply chain visibility platform.
Build systems in a multi-cloud environment using AWS and GCP, with Azure experience valued.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems.
Share ownership of software delivery, including development, operations, and testing.
Participate in team on-call responsibilities for owned systems.
Invest in tools, monitoring, and automation to improve the on-call experience.

Requirements

At least 6 years of professional experience building large-scale, real-time or near-real-time cloud systems.
Strong programming and debugging skills with proficiency in Java.
Experience creating and working with scalable Java-based microservices.
Experience working with databases, preferably Postgres or other SQL-based databases.
Experience with event stores and stream processing using Kafka or Kinesis.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Experience investigating large and complex codebases is desirable.
Hands-on C++ experience is desirable.
Experience creating APIs or web services, including REST and OpenAPI/Swagger, is desirable.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration is desirable.
Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Postgres is desirable.
