Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support ETL data pipelines, Snowflake data warehouse solutions, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and data-readiness or data-quality processes.
  • Perform batch and real-time data loads, SQL debugging, query performance tuning, optimization, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Investigate problems independently and develop solutions that meet client requirements and service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate across APAC, EMEA, and North America on design standards, high-level solution documents, cross-training, and data onboarding.
  • Create SDLC and governance artifacts, conduct peer code reviews and unit-test-result activities, and participate in code deployments.
  • Manage Git versioning, merging, release branches, and feature branches.
  • Create Confluence and Jira/Kanban stories and support client implementations and operational improvements.
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in data integration or orchestration services.
  • Bachelor of Science degree, or foreign education equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field; a master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Strong data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools such as Talend Cloud Data Integration.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills.
  • Experience with service architecture and delivering data-driven solutions for client requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Snowflake SQL, and database query or performance tuning.
  • Financial-domain knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Qlik Replicate and Compose for change data capture is a plus.
  • Exposure to third-party data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, and rating agencies is a plus.
  • Prior State Street or Charles River Development experience is a plus.
