Responsibilities

Build and support scalable production systems for the ticket marketplace Orders team.
Help lead the direction of technology systems and develop experiments, algorithms, and features that improve marketplace value and efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver business objectives iteratively.
Design, build, test, deploy, observe, and improve web or cross-platform mobile applications.
Contribute to planning, estimation, design sessions, software development practices, and team efficiency improvements.
Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical talks.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience building and supporting production web applications.
Strong experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
Experience designing, building, and testing modern web or cross-platform mobile solutions in an agile or cross-functional team.
Experience with client-side application state libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Enzyme.
Frontend experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is preferred.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including documenting and sharing team best practices.
Exposure to design systems and A/B testing.
A proactive approach to experimenting with and integrating AI tools to improve efficiency.
