Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software solutions and services.
Lead technical design discussions, implementation approaches, architectural decisions, and delivery of complex features across multiple contributors.
Own the design, delivery, scalability, performance, reliability, and ongoing technical health of assigned systems.
Investigate complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive modernization and technical-debt reduction.
Conduct code and design reviews, mentor engineers, and promote high standards for quality, testing, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Support, DevOps, Platform, and Engineering teams on planning, execution, and technical decisions.
Use and promote AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong TypeScript fluency and significant experience building production web applications and services.
Strong full-stack development experience with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
Experience designing and supporting scalable production systems, relational databases such as MySQL, and Docker.
Understanding of networking concepts for modern web and distributed applications, plus strong system design, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred experience includes Azure or comparable cloud platforms, serverless applications, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, messaging, asynchronous processing, NoSQL, caching, CI/CD, application security, observability, Kubernetes, and modern UI/design systems.
Exposure to PHP, AngularJS, Java, or C# is beneficial or a plus.
