Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack in Remote new

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues.
  • Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and support availability, keep-the-lights-on work, and on-call efforts.
  • Set and improve code review and design standards, and promote quality and ownership through writing and technical talks.
  • Develop talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
  • Design, develop, launch, and operate mobile, web, and backend systems for repayment user journeys.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with declarative UI frameworks such as React Native.
  • Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
  • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
  • Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with simple, elegant, and extensible designs.
  • Ability to make significant changes safely in a large codebase using appropriate tools and practices.
  • Demonstrated ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback-seeking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
