Senior Software Engineer - .NET in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, support, maintain, and enhance software applications and reusable software components for the Cotiviti product suite.
  • Build and maintain UI/UX and backend functionality.
  • Analyze and resolve software issues originating from internal or external customers.
  • Document application specifications, designs, features, and operations before production rollout.
  • Implement enhancements to improve software performance and availability.
  • Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership.
  • Follow technology standards and execute the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development teams, business owners, project management, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor other developers and contribute innovative improvements to processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience developing and managing software applications handling healthcare data.
  • Five years of experience with the .NET framework, SQL Server, healthcare industry compliance standards, team and project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, large datasets, SQL/Oracle query optimization and tuning, stored procedures and triggers, and object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Four years of experience with .NET Core, healthcare prepay insurance products, Ember.js, Angular, and Oracle.
  • One year of experience with Java frameworks.
  • Experience may be acquired concurrently.
