Senior Software Engineer: Social & AI in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to MetaMask’s social expansion and multi-chain user experiences.
  • Unify and enhance social experiences across MetaMask Portfolio, Browser Extension, and Mobile platforms.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other experience teams to complete complex projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and elevate engineering practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Have 6+ years of experience working with web and mobile-based technologies.
  • Have hands-on experience with React and React Native.
  • Have extensive experience with modern JavaScript, including ES6 and TypeScript.
  • Understand blockchain fundamentals across multiple blockchain architectures.
  • Have strong knowledge of cross-platform and browser compatibility.
  • Have experience working in an agile development team.
  • Have built medium- to large-scale applications across the entire stack using sensible abstractions, testing, linting, and coding and web standards.
  • Have experience consuming APIs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Continuous Integration.
  • Understand web-based security threats and prevention techniques.
  • Bonus qualifications include knowledge of EVM and non-EVM protocols, cross-chain bridges, transaction lifecycles, interoperability solutions, blockchain technologies, decentralized teams, Web3, and Web3 wallet products.
  • Mobile experience with React Native, Objective-C, or Swift is a bonus.
  • Demonstrate excellent English communication, teamwork, flexibility, initiative, and organization.

Salary: $130k - $190k/yr
