Senior Software Engineer, VALORANT in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, upgrade, and strengthen the release pipeline that delivers VALORANT to players globally.
  • Drive automation and technical processes that improve the release pipeline’s longevity and reliability.
  • Lead development efforts to automate and solidify domain areas while collaborating with teammates.
  • Implement robust, testable engineering solutions for complex problems with a defensive mindset.
  • Break down and execute multi-month development efforts.
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in support rotations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining live service products with a focus on developer experience.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable code and communicate technical concepts across disciplines.
  • Expertise maintaining and improving orchestration pipelines such as Jenkins, Horde, or similar tools.
  • Professional or hobby experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of professional experience using C# and/or Groovy.
  • Preferred: expert Jenkins proficiency, global release-flow orchestration and optimization experience, workflow automation expertise, and experience building automated build, test, and release pipelines.
  • Preferred: proficiency with C++, software engineering fundamentals, GitHub Actions, and cross-functional collaboration.
