Responsibilities

Support and optimize CircleCI and hybrid CI environments, including self-hosted runners and executors.
Partner with Software Engineering and SRE teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
Develop automation, platform tooling, and internal services using Go or similar languages.
Implement CI/CD security practices including secrets management, image signing, policy enforcement, and vulnerability scanning.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
Improve build performance, reliability, and developer productivity through automation and self-service capabilities.
Mentor engineers and promote operational excellence across the platform.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with CircleCI or comparable SaaS CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of CI/CD design patterns, build systems, release workflows, and automation practices.
Software engineering background with the ability to write, maintain, and review production-quality code.
Experience with Go or willingness to work with Go and AI-assisted coding tools.
Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code practices.
Understanding of IAM, OIDC, secrets management, and secure software supply chain practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
