Responsibilities

Define the multi-year strategy and technical vision for Nubank’s end-to-end Developer Experience and Quality platforms.
Architect internal developer platforms, boundary APIs, test automation suites, pull request review systems, linting, and automated approval mechanisms.
Lead AI-driven code review evolution using multi-model evaluations, IDE and GitHub integrations, deterministic checks, and human-in-the-loop controls.
Establish observability, defect-tracking metrics, safety rails, and standards that preserve system integrity during AI-assisted development.
Partner with engineers and product managers, mentor technical teams, and drive horizontal technical alignment across the organization.
Evaluate market tools, AI coding frameworks, and internal platforms to determine build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

Backend software engineering experience with a proven record designing developer platforms, core infrastructure, or Developer Experience systems at high scale.
Extensive expertise in code review systems, test automation platforms, CI/CD pipelines, developer platforms, or static analysis tools for large engineering organizations.
Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with AI-assisted software development, including LLM evaluation pipelines, GitHub Copilot or agent integrations, prompt/context/graph engineering, or AI-driven code review frameworks.
A demonstrated history of independently driving technical strategy, navigating ambiguity, and establishing strong technical standards.
Experience in fast-moving, high-bar environments such as major technology companies, high-growth AI or DevEx startups, or advanced AI laboratories.
