Responsibilities

Manage incident processes, application monitoring, metrics, reporting, and corrective actions.
Understand complex application systems and debug business-impacting issues.
Improve system operational efficiency, stability, and availability using standards and best practices.
Use continuous delivery and DevOps practices to support, deploy, and deliver high-quality software.
Apply logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and incident root-cause analysis.
Deliver tested bug fixes and enhancements to the existing codebase.
Mentor less experienced peers and junior consultants through technical guidance and leadership.
Apply current technology practices to solve client problems.

Requirements

Experience with Java or .NET, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Understanding of monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless architectures.
Strong debugging and triaging skills for troubleshooting code.
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, as well as relational or non-relational databases.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.
Understanding of application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana, including metrics, reporting, and corrective actions.
Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements to existing codebases.
Comfort with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
Ability to advocate for technical excellence, cloud best practices, resource optimization, monitoring, alerting, and security practices.
Ability to mentor junior-level consultants and communicate technical expertise through professional or external technology communities.
Willingness to participate in a rotation- and need-based 24x7 availability team.
