Responsibilities

Create scalable software solutions and test tooling for peak power management, transient mitigation, battery health, and dynamic power-budgeting technologies.
Devise and execute end-to-end testing strategies across diverse battery operating states.
Develop and automate unit, functional, integration, and system-level tests using mocks, stubs, and internal frameworks.
Validate battery chemistry, power clamping, brownout prevention, throttling, and battery-aging behavior.
Build hardware-in-the-loop environments, battery cycler or emulator integrations, and CI infrastructure.
Collaborate with software, firmware, battery engineering, cell chemistry, silicon validation, and performance teams to resolve complex issues.
Influence software and firmware design decisions by driving testability, telemetry, fault injection, and release-readiness requirements.

Requirements

4 to 5 years of software development experience.
Strong ability to write, read, and debug C and C++.
Strong experience developing class-based Python tests and Python frameworks.
Strong understanding of embedded architecture, computer architecture, and operating-system concepts.
Experience testing and automating embedded systems and firmware.
Strong critical-thinking, debugging, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Familiarity with bug triage.
Familiarity with wired adapters, battery management systems, or power is preferred.
Experience with data analytics, big data, or control systems is preferred.
