Responsibilities

Build and support advertising engineering infrastructure and services.
Improve service reliability, performance, accuracy, observability, and security.
Solve distributed-systems and data-engineering problems using appropriate tools and technologies.
Build shared libraries, tools, and frameworks that improve engineering solutions.
Implement unit and integration tests for platform stability.
Develop software that improves the efficiency, visibility, and performance of ad technology.
Extract and aggregate data from varied sources into data warehouses.
Use AI-assisted tools throughout coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while reviewing and validating generated code.
Work with ad-decisioning systems, video player vendors, ad routers, and server-side ad insertion partners.

Requirements

Strong computer science foundation and software engineering and communication skills.
3+ years of experience delivering production-quality software.
Expertise building microservices with Golang, Java, C++, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with modern code-deployment toolchains such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases and ingesting large datasets.
Professional experience with log and metric aggregation software such as Datadog, Elasticsearch with Kibana, or Splunk.
Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar, including the ability to review, test, and validate generated code.
Experience working with external stakeholders.
Preferred: infrastructure-platform or tooling experience, LLM APIs or agentic workflows, online advertising or ad-tech experience, VAST, VMAP, SSAI, Freewheel, Publica, Google Ad Manager, GCP, or AWS.
Preferred: passion for distributed systems and familiarity with microservice architectures and cloud-agnostic code.
