Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and MSSQL.
Provide L2 production support for containerized applications while meeting SLA requirements.
Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Implement permanent fixes for recurring incidents and support deployments, releases, and application configuration.
Work in Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments; monitor application health, analyze logs, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and DevOps teams during incident and release management activities.
Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
Mentor and coach junior developers and interact directly with clients.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development and AMS support.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on MSSQL experience including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience developing containerized applications deployed on Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed microservices environments.
Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK, or Grafana is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred but not required.
