Responsibilities

Build and operate authentication services for SSO, token issuance, session and token lifecycle management, SCIM provisioning, and bot/fraud defense.
Develop APIs and internal tooling for managing and troubleshooting user data and access controls.
Collaborate with product management, product design, engineers, and internal stakeholders on complex access use cases.
Participate in the on-call and hero rotation, triage incidents, investigate authentication and authorization issues, and create runbooks.
Investigate and resolve reliability, data-integrity, and security issues, including dependency and container vulnerability remediation.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience building and shipping reliable software services.
Expertise in backend languages, with Ruby or Java preferred.
Experience modeling and managing data at scale, including writing and reasoning about SQL against relational databases.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, including explaining technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with IAM protocols such as SCIM, OAuth2, SAML, or OIDC is preferred.
Experience with GraphQL APIs, observability tools and platforms, public cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or Docker is preferred.

Salary: $114k - $142k/yr
