Software Engineer, Developer Platform in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build tools, APIs, and platform experiences that enable integrations, automations, and connections between Notion and external tools and data.
  • Evolve Developer Platform capabilities across APIs, MCP tools, and integration infrastructure.
  • Own software features end to end from conception and research through implementation and maintenance.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, robustness, flexibility, and scalability of Notion’s product and core systems.
  • Partner with product, design, data science, user research, and engineering leaders to define strategy and execute technical investments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience shipping production software with a strong record of owning features end to end.
  • Fluency with TypeScript across backend and frontend development.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical technical approaches and make appropriate scope decisions.
  • Strong product instincts and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve productivity and results.
