Software Engineer II, Channels in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Braze’s SMS and RCS messaging channels.
  • Develop and ship high-value full-stack features from concept through delivery.
  • Own key technical areas and solve open-ended engineering problems.
  • Maintain platform dependability as traffic expands.
  • Support Chat messaging services, including click tracking and link shortening.
  • Collaborate across teams and functions while communicating with peers and leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and self-starting skills.
  • Professional experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience with agile processes is preferred.
