Software Engineer II, Channels in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Braze’s SMS and RCS channels across composition, sending, responses, and analytics.
  • Ship high-value full-stack features quickly and drive initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Own key technical areas, solve open-ended problems, and maintain platform dependability as traffic expands.
  • Support Chat messaging services including internal click tracking and link shortening.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and functions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience working in a team environment.
  • Bonus experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with agile processes is a bonus.
