Software Engineer III in USA

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on key software design and technical implementation decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders and users to define requirements and deliver reliable, extensible operations-friendly applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain sustainable full-stack applications and services.
  • Improve development processes and procedures and promote engineering best practices.
  • Handle protected health information in paper and electronic form while completing HIPAA/PHI, compliance, and security training.
  • Maintain current status on required Natera training and complete a post-offer criminal background check.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in computer science, a comparable program, or equivalent qualification; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of overall software development experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in Java; Spring Framework and Hibernate experience is preferred.
  • Experience with web services and relational databases.
  • Front-end web programming experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is preferred.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Healthcare IT experience is beneficial but not required.
