Responsibilities

Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling, processes, and culture.
Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust infrastructure solutions while balancing reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
Design and implement software solutions that improve infrastructure resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
Uphold engineering standards and improve the codebase and development processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software development.
Five years of experience developing, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems built with open source tools.
Five years of experience building infrastructure as a product centered around users’ needs and scaling distributed systems.
Five years of experience breaking down complex systems and making data-driven cost-performance tradeoffs.
Five years of experience building and operating infrastructure and tools that empower developers.
Five years of experience working in a development team using AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
Five years of experience with Ruby, Go, Python, or Java.

Benefits

40-hour work week.
50% telecommuting permitted.

Salary: $206k - $286k/yr
