Responsibilities

Build scalable UI features optimized for millions of users.
Investigate and solve middleware, graphics rendering, and UI challenges.
Implement and optimize BrightScript or JavaScript-like systems for the FRAME engine.
Improve performance, visual smoothness, responsiveness, and memory usage on Roku devices.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, application, UI, and product teams on global platform features.
Develop engineering tools and learn from experienced developers.
Explore AI/ML integrations and use generative AI tools to accelerate development.
Stay current with AI trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

3+ years of software engineering experience with UI development exposure.
Experience with C++ in an embedded environment.
Proficiency with BrightScript or JavaScript-like technologies.
Some experience with Python.
Strong problem-solving and technical communication abilities.
Interest in AI applications and willingness to learn generative AI tools.
A proactive mindset and passion for continuous learning and fast iteration.
