Responsibilities

Specify, design, implement, and thoroughly test low-level bare-metal and RTOS software for power electronics applications.
Develop software component interfaces and robust real-time software components.
Contribute to multicore application development and testing.
Independently resolve technical challenges and ambiguities in requirements and designs.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and use debugging tools to verify software functionality.
Create and maintain detailed software project documentation.

Requirements

Strong understanding of embedded software development principles and strong C programming skills.
At least 2 years of professional experience developing real-time embedded C systems.
Experience with version control systems including GitFlow and GitLab.
Ability to develop and use Python scripting for testing and automation.
Familiarity with Bazel, CMake, and Makefile build systems and scripts; Bazel is preferred.
Understanding of real-time software concepts and testing methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, and test embedded software modules.
Experience debugging embedded systems with standard tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; a master's degree is a plus.
