Responsibilities

  • Refine and communicate OG Assist’s product vision using customer research, competitive context, and business goals.
  • Conduct customer discovery and translate findings into product decisions about what to build and prioritize.
  • Own the product roadmap, explain prioritization decisions, and revise plans based on new information.
  • Architect, implement, test, and ship production features end to end as a primary code contributor.
  • Define UX flows and interaction patterns within the design system and implement the resulting experiences.
  • Write intent documents and review AI-generated specifications and code for accuracy, completeness, and correctness.
  • Set technical direction, make build-versus-buy decisions, evaluate tradeoffs, and resolve development ambiguity.
  • Track adoption, usage, and business outcome metrics to guide product iteration.
  • Represent the product in customer conversations, QBRs, discovery sessions, and cross-functional reviews.
  • Identify and address gaps in AI harnesses, design system coverage, and platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience spanning product ownership and hands-on software engineering.
  • Track record of shipping production code in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and experience owning features through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React, with the ability to learn OG Assist’s specific technology stack.
  • Experience building with or on top of LLMs or AI agents in production is preferred.
  • Ability to own projects end to end, provide technical direction to peers, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Strategic ability to use competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior to inform roadmap and architecture decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to document decisions and influence through structured reasoning.
  • Ability to define UX flows, work within a design system, and implement designed experiences.
  • Fluency in AI-native product and engineering workflows and ability to identify AI tooling and platform investment needs.
  • Experience representing products in customer-facing forums such as QBRs, discovery sessions, or executive reviews.
