OpenGov builds cloud-based ERP and analytics software for state and local governments, spanning budgeting, accounting, procurement, permitting and licensing, asset management, billing, and transparency/open data. It sells its Public Service Platform as SaaS with professional services, and counts more than 2,000 public-sector organizations as customers. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Francisco, OpenGov was acquired by Cox Enterprises.
