Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable backend code and application components.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, customer success, and engineers to define requirements, technical specifications, and success measures.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs while improving application performance, scalability, and security.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and raise engineering standards.
Implement automated testing and continuous integration and deployment pipelines for reliable releases.
Participate in an on-call rotation and engage with customers and product teams to shape solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of professional backend software development experience.
Strong understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, messaging queues such as AWS SQS, and MongoDB.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Comfort working with modern web technologies and large-scale data systems.
Full-stack knowledge and experience with AI are preferred.
Experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, Flask, Airflow, PostgreSQL, or NestJS is nice to have.
