Responsibilities

Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, data, and network telemetry from public clouds.
Design service architectures, present and defend designs, and deliver robust implementations.
Own critical features and subsystems through requirements clarification, development, deployment, and customer usage.
Operate systems firsthand and improve software supportability and resilience.
Write Go and SQL-based data pipelines and use Kubernetes for service infrastructure.
Ensure code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
Experience with Go and SQL.
API-level programming experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience delivering containerized services, preferably in a Kubernetes-based platform.
Experience with REST API clients and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
Willingness to learn continuously and work collaboratively.

Salary: $194k - $233k/yr
