Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, and implement computer and network software for Zscaler products.
Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data infrastructure supporting large-scale batch processing and real-time workloads.
Design and implement secure, high-performance database schemas, data models, APIs, and data platforms for billions of log events.
Develop systems supporting security, scalability, multi-tenancy, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Participate in software development processes focused on code quality, supportability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
Strong experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native API and microservice development.
Proven experience with Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Preferred experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
Preferred practical experience with machine learning models, systems, or pipelines.
Preferred ability to use AI technologies, workflows, tools, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
