Staff+ Software Engineer, Platform Ecosystem in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build capabilities, integrations, and workflows that help industries adopt Claude safely and at scale
  • Design and operate systems that enable businesses building on Claude to price, package, and sell their products
  • Build commercial rails and controls that support platform monetization
  • Drive 0-to-1 initiatives from ideation through delivery
  • Partner with product, design, research, and forward-deployed engineers
  • Own products across design, development, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer, along with some frontend experience
  • Strong product sense and the technical ability to tackle a wide variety of challenges
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape and execute product strategy in new domains
  • Familiarity with using AI tools in the software development process
  • Ability to own work across design, build, deployment, operations, and product iteration
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make independent technical decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Benefits

  • Annual compensation range of $405,000–$485,000 USD
  • Hybrid work with staff expected in an office at least 25% of the time
  • Visa sponsorship may be available with immigration-lawyer support
