Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable Apex solutions on the Salesforce platform for Sales and Customer Experience teams.
Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code to write, review, debug, and document code throughout the development lifecycle.
Oversee improvements to deployed features and measure their impact.
Apply Salesforce platform architecture and change/release management best practices, using the sf CLI for deployments.
Write structured, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Build, test, and debug reliable production systems at scale, including real-time, event-driven, or high-throughput systems where applicable.
Contribute to codebases outside Salesforce when needed.
Translate ambiguous requirements into business value and advocate for scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years developing on Salesforce in Apex.
Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Application Architect certification.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, sf CLI, and Salesforce change/release management best practices.
Fluent daily use of AI coding assistants across writing, reviewing, debugging, and documenting code, with sound judgment about their application.
Ability to write well-structured, maintainable, and well-documented code, including in codebases outside Salesforce.
Proven experience building, testing, and debugging reliable production systems at scale.
Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.
Experience in regulated industries is preferred.

Employees based in Denver, San Francisco, New York City, or applicable subsidiary locations generally work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.

Salary: $163k - $247k/yr
