Responsibilities

Own the architecture, data model, scheduling, roadmap, and end-to-end development of internal automation platforms.
Build full-stack features including backend services, RBAC, approval workflows, frontend UI, dashboards, and systems of record.
Maintain integrations with SaaS tools, cloud infrastructure, and internal directory and identity services.
Develop automation for onboarding, offboarding, approval routing, audit logging, access reviews, asset tracking, and entitlement workflows.
Design SSO/OAuth2 and directory-service integrations that support secure access provisioning and audit requirements.
Own database schema evolution, automated test coverage, logging, and engineering standards as the codebase grows.
Partner with IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders to scope and automate cross-functional operational processes.
Set technical direction while personally building a meaningful share of the systems.

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience owning a production web application end to end, including Python backend development, FastAPI or similar frameworks, relational database design, PostgreSQL, SQL, schema migrations, and frontend development.
Experience integrating enterprise SaaS APIs such as Atlassian, Microsoft 365, GitHub, or Bitbucket, along with cloud infrastructure APIs.
Working knowledge of RBAC, SSO/OAuth2, and group provisioning through LDAP or an equivalent directory service.
Experience designing systems of record, inventory or asset-tracking tools, and dashboards for different audiences.
Exposure to licensing, entitlement, or IP and asset lifecycle-tracking systems is preferred.
Fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow.
Ability to automate manual cross-functional processes and scope workflows directly with non-technical stakeholders.
Track record as a hands-on technical lead who owns architecture decisions and personally builds substantial portions of systems.

Benefits

Salary range of $135,000 to $170,000 depending on experience, level, and business need.
May be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.
Opportunity to own a live internal platform, build new systems from scratch, and work with a short feedback loop between development and usage.
