Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver trusted data across enterprise platforms.
Build scalable data products using structured and semi-structured data for reporting, analytics, machine learning, and business applications.
Apply cloud-based data engineering technologies including Databricks, AWS, Python, SQL, and data orchestration tools.
Participate in data quality validation, monitoring, testing, and documentation activities.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Explore AI-assisted engineering, automation, and modern data platforms while developing data exploration, engineering, and analysis skills.

Requirements

Be a current sophomore graduating in December 2028 or May 2029, or a current junior graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.
Have exposure to programming using Python and SQL.
Understand databases, data structures, and data processing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed data processing, or modern data engineering technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Spark, or Snowflake is preferred.
Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
Be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Benefits

Paid 10-week internship running from May 27 through August 6, 2027.
Locations are Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; New York, New York; or Holmdel, New Jersey; housing is not provided.
