Responsibilities

Design and implement GCP landing zones, organization structures, folders, and multi-project architectures.
Provision and manage GCP resources using Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, and Ansible.
Configure autoscaling, auto-provisioning, resource optimization, and GCP networking including VPCs, subnets, routes, firewall rules, and Private Service Connect.
Manage Google Cloud IAM roles, policies, service accounts, security controls, and compliance configurations.
Set up monitoring and observability using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, multi-region storage, and regional or zonal redundancy strategies.
Collaborate on infrastructure planning, optimization, governance, cost management, and performance tuning.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in GCP infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on experience provisioning GCP infrastructure with Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, and Ansible.
Expertise in GCP networking, IAM, security configurations, multi-project environments, and governance frameworks.
Proficiency in Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting for automation.
Familiarity with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Firestore, Cloud Functions, GKE, and Cloud Run.
Knowledge of Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Datadog, and Dynatrace for monitoring and alerting.
Understanding of GCP security and compliance services including Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, and VPC Service Controls.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification is desired.
Exposure to cost optimization, billing, budgets, recommender tools, performance tuning, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
