Responsibilities

Develop AI-driven tools, data analysis platforms, and lab automation software.
Build software that accelerates test data processing, safety compliance analysis, risk assessment, and test automation workflows.
Develop web applications and backend/frontend systems for engineering use cases.
Support hardware test automation, lab instrumentation, sensor data acquisition, and safety or reliability testing workflows.
Collaborate with the Product Safety Engineering team in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
Commit to a minimum six-month full-time internship in Shanghai.
Demonstrate strong programming proficiency in Python.
Understand web application development, HTTP, APIs, and modern frontend/backend architecture.
Understand database fundamentals, including SQL queries and data schema design.
Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
Preferred qualifications include experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LLM API integrations, FastAPI, Flask, React, Next.js, Qdrant, Pinecone, FAISS, Docker, Git, or Linux.
