Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies and test plans for complex, data-driven applications.
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, ambiguities, edge cases, and regression impacts.
  • Execute and document functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
  • Validate REST API integrations and data flows between frontend and backend systems.
  • Compare legacy and modern system behavior to ensure backward compatibility and functional parity.
  • Track, document, and verify defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with Product, Business Analysts, Engineers, UX, client stakeholders, and frontend and backend developers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide continuous quality feedback throughout development.
  • Support release validation and readiness activities and assist with production and pre-production troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to QA standards, tools, and best practices across the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of quality assurance experience with web-based or enterprise applications.
  • Experience testing complex, data-driven systems and validating requirements early in the development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States, with all work performed within the United States.
  • Federal government or large enterprise systems experience is preferred.
  • Experience with legacy parity, backward compatibility, REST APIs, backend services, or healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar is preferred.
