Responsibilities

Manage incidents, investigate application issues, debug business-impacting problems, and perform root-cause analysis.
Use monitoring metrics, logging, alerting, and reporting tools to identify issues and take corrective actions.
Deploy, operate, support, and continuously improve complex application systems using DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
Deliver high-quality bug fixes and enhancements while following standards for stability, availability, security, and cloud resource optimization.
Mentor less experienced peers and junior consultants and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response.

Requirements

Experience with Java or C#/.NET, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Understanding of monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless architectures.
Strong debugging, triaging, and code troubleshooting skills.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Ability to produce high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements.
Proficiency in English, strong communication skills, and confidence discussing technical matters with senior stakeholders.
Ability to advocate for technical excellence, cloud and security best practices, and continuous improvement.
Experience mentoring junior colleagues and willingness to share expertise through community activities, open source, blogs, or speaking engagements.
Comfort with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
