Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ML platform services including feature stores, real-time inference services, and vector databases.
Run and monitor online A/B tests while analyzing platform metrics and business KPIs to improve recommendation performance.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into modular platform components and APIs.
Evolve the ML platform ecosystem to improve developer velocity, scalability, and adaptability.
Onboard, train, and mentor new team members on platform engineering practices and technologies.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience building software solutions to concrete problems.
Strong computer science fundamentals and the ability to write algorithms effectively.
Fluency in at least one of Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, S3, and AirFlow.
Familiarity with Ray, PyTorch, HuggingFace, and AWS Sagemaker.
AI literacy and curiosity, including prior Gen AI experimentation or willingness to explore it.
Master of Science in Computer Science or a related field.

Benefits

Estimated New York annual base salary of $229,500–$360,000, with health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
Additional benefits may include medical, dental, vision, accident, commuter, retirement, mental health, and financial wellness support, depending on location and role.
Hybrid work generally requires office attendance Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work unless the role or location requires five days onsite.

Salary: $230k - $360k/yr
